Sliders Seaside Grill
About This Spot
Sliders Seaside Grill welcomes you with the easygoing charm of a beachside gathering spot where the rhythm of the ocean and the scent of sea salt set the tone for a relaxed, convivial meal. Arriving here feels like stepping into a live postcard — the view stretches wide with the Atlantic’s sway just beyond the open-air seating, inviting you to unwind and linger. It’s a place where the pace slows naturally, and the laughter of families mingling with lively conversation creates a warm, unpretentious soundtrack to your time spent by the shore.
The atmosphere at Sliders is distinctly casual and friendly, yet full of life, with tables spilling toward the sand and the gentle hum of live music drifting through the sea breeze, especially as evening draws near. Whether you’re sharing a table with friends or letting kids explore the sandy playground nearby, the setting encourages easy connection—between people and place alike.
The menu feels like a thoughtful nod to the region’s flavors and laid-back pace. Dishes arrive bursting with fresh seafood and comfort — think tender shrimp sautées, a rich lobster roll that honors its gluten-free promise, or a steaming bowl of creole-inspired shrimp and grits. Each plate feels crafted to pair effortlessly with the salty air and casual clink of mimosas or a cold local brew. For those wanting to savor the day uninterrupted, the staff’s attention to making guests feel comfortable — whether by anticipating extra iced tea to go or accommodating a family with ease — adds a human touch to the whole experience.
Sliders Seaside Grill isn’t just a seafood restaurant or a beach bar; it’s a place that invites you to slow down, savor simple pleasures, and soak in a true seaside mood where every bite and every moment feels connected to the unique spirit of Fernandina Beach.

Shrimp platter with hush puppies was slammin'! The lobster and crab dip was sooo good! If you have little kids, there's a little sandy playground. You can eat while the kids play!

Delicious food and friendly service! Right on the beach so the views are gorgeous! Loved the live music, too - and the seafood chowder is out of this world! Ordered it twice while visiting Amelia Island for the Dickens Festival.

Touristy spot (complete with all sorts of souvenir drink cups). Location and views cannot be beat, true oceanfront location. Some tasty food options, crab cakes and just puppies. Service while generally efficient, isn’t always that friendly, a little over stretched.

I had the power up bowl with tuna added. It was AMAZING! The outside seating makes for the perfect little get away, and easy access to walk right onto the beach afterwards. Staff was so friendly and even got me a to go cup for my iced tea for my walk on the beach.

Really good food and atmosphere. We came pretty late at 7pm so missed out on the lovely beach views due to the dark. They had a live band playing, told us it'd be about a 20 min wait for a table (3 adults, 2 kids) inside and that was pretty spot on. They had a playground with sand toys for the kiddos. Food came out in about 10 mins. Crab cake order came with grits instead of okra but that was fixed quickly. Nephew devoured his flounder. Crab cakes were awesome. Wouldn't mind returning.

The best experience on our trip to the area. The food was phenomenal. My creole flounder topped with a crab cake over potatoes and andouille sausage was amazing. A great value anywhere at $26, yet alone an oceanfront restaurant. The fried shrimp, fried chicken tenders, and hush puppies are exactly what a true north Floridian would want. It’s as true to southern seafood as it gets anywhere in the south. The owners recipe for the pineapple cream cheese side is out of this world. Our server Erin was awesome. She was attentive and made us feel right at home. Every recommendation she made was spot on. Most importantly, she made sure our daughter’s allergies were avoided while still having a great experience. This place is a true gem. The kids had a blast on the playground and we enjoyed the live music even more. My only regret is I wish we had more time to stay.

We enjoyed this place. Oysters were a little small and not particularly well shucked. Fried shrimp platter was perfect. We had great service with a large party (6+2 kids). The add 20% gratuities for parties of 6 or more.

Great spot for dinner. Are out back and enjoyed the weather. The service was quick and courteous. The food was amazing. I had the Ahi Tuna tacos which were amazing. Food came out quick and correct. Highly recommend this spot for good eats on a beach day.
